Can one of you guys do EUROPE-FINAL COUNTDOWN?
Well, I got something that can get anyone started.
The song is available in Rocksmith so if someone’s up for converting it, there’s that option too.
If you get the Rocksmith XML files, you can import them into EOF to save yourself the work of authoring all the notes, but you’ll have to do some cleanup to get the notes suitable for RB3:
Open another EOF instance and import the RB3 MIDI for Final Countdown. If it prompts you to store the tempo map into the project, allow it. Then, for each Rocksmith track you imported in the other EOF instance:
1. Change to the highest difficulty (they’re numbered in Rocksmith because they can go well over 4).
2. Use “Track>Rocksmith>Flatten this difficulty” to merge all lower difficulties (different parts of the song can have varying number of difficulties) into the current difficulty to leave you with 100% of the transcription.
3. Copy+paste the notes into the Expert difficulty of the instance where you opened the RB3 chart.
4. Make any edits necessary to compensate for differences due to having a different audio recording, etc.
5. Author lower difficulties to your liking, or you can repeat step 2 and 3 on other difficulty levels of your choosing in the Rocksmith import.
Then just save the project. Touch up in a MIDI editor like Reaper if desired.
